UPDATE November 2011, this information was on ronsusser.com: 1960 - Car was purchased by Paul and Elizabeth Eppley of Springfield, VA. Purchased from pre-owned stock from a Ford dealership in Towson, MD.
- In 1984, the car received a AACA Junior Award at College Park, MD.
- In spring 1985, the car received a Senior Award at Colombia, SC.
- In May, 1985, the car won the Preservation Award in Winchester, VA.
- Mr. John VanHoozier (current owner's father) purchased the car in 2002 and displayed the car at Cherner Lincoln Mercury in Annadale, VA. where he was the new car sales manager at the dealership. He kept the purchase a secret from his family and planned on bringing this class bird home upon his retirement.
- Mr. VanHoozier died in Oct. 2002 - at that point his daughter, Tracy Nelson claimed the car and brought it home where it has been lovingly stored for 7 years. She has since titled the car in her name and the title is free and clear. (picture added)
