Kevin Nordquist says: This T-birds history starts with me in 1972: my dad bought originally a 3 speed but traded it for a Fordomatic soon after. Dad replaced the engine from JC Whitney in 1972; a 292 was installed. The car came with a factory 312, but I am unsure if that was in it when my dad picked it up. It was driven in Chula Vista, California from 1972 to late 1976. We moved to Bothell, Washington in December, 1976. The car was driven very little from 1980 to 1995 when my parents moved from Bothell to Nebraska. Five years later I drove back and trailered the car home to Arlington, Washington where I am in the process of restoring it.
