(Former owner) Johnny Booth says: My 1957 Thunderbird is originally a Las Vegas car. It has both tops, 'D' series engine, and is Dusk Rose. Its claim to fame is the fact that the 'Beach Boys', 'The Temptations', and 'Frankie Valli' rode in it. UPDATE May 2013, Ron Richter of Ontario, Canada notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says it was used in a Beach Boys concert and has a unique feature. The control knobs on the dash were ordered in white and not black. UPDATE September 2020, Greg Corcoran notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: I bought it from Ron Richter in Ontario. If you want more detailed history:
Ron bought it from John Booth, also in Ontario. The owner before John Booth was Franklin (Frank) Hahn former CTCI chapter president in Buffalo, NY. John bought it from Frank's estate and imported it to Canada.
Per BTC chapter historian Frank bought the car from Al Battistoni, owner of Bison Sausage Co., Buffalo, NY. It is believed Al Battistoni bought the car in Nevada and brought it back to Buffalo, NY.
There are numerous chromed items under the hood that have apparently been in place since the car was in Nevada. (comments updated March 2023)
