40 - EE - XL - 13W - 3 - 1
This is a 1957 Thunderbird. It is Colonial White (E) with a Colonial White (E) hard top and a blue interior (XL). It was scheduled for production on August 13, 1957 (13V). It has Fordomatic, power steering, power brakes, power seat, and power windows. As of July, 2003 it was in Minneapolis, Minnesota. UPDATE April 2012, Dennis Dole reports it is being offered for sale has been thoroughly gone over. The correct 312ci engine has benefited from a recent engine re-build as well as newer paint, power front disc brake upgrade, rack and pinion steering, factory heater and defroster, wind wings, new seat upholstery and carpet (currently being installed). The original parts are also included with the car. Options are plentiful and include, power brakes, power steering, power windows, power seat w/rare memory control, soft top w/Blue tonneau, outside rear view mirror, cover and most importantly, the beautiful and desirable port-hole hard top! Cosmetically, the car shows very well with excellent paint, chrome and interior as well as a nicely detailed engine compartment. It is now light blue with a white roof; it was formerly all white and the Registry has a picture of it in that condition, available on request.
