This is a 1957 Thunderbird. It is Starmist Blue (F) with a Starmist Blue (F) hardtop and a blue interior. It was scheduled for production on September 13, 1957 (13W). It has 3-speed manual transmission with Overdrive (2) and a 3.70:1 rear axle ratio (3). This Thunderbird was documented in Minnesota in 1998. UPDATE November 2012, Dennis Dole reports it was offered for sale at a 2008 Silver auction. It was a no sale at $28,500. The auction information indicates that the car was cashmere mauve metallic with a white and cashmere mauve interior and was equipped with a 302 V8 with automatic transmission. UPDATE December 2016 Phil Parcells reports it is for sale at Gateway Classic Cars. (picture added) UPDATE April 2017 Activegroup Inc. of Ontario, Canada reports they own this car. They add: This is a car that was given a 289 Ford engine and transmission. It is painted Dusk Rose, however lighter in shade (more like a Studebaker metalic) and made pretty.
