Joseph Lingrey says: I bought my 1957 Thunderbird in 1970 and I paid $1,700 for the car. I drove the car for many years as my primary car then I retired the car until I could fix it up. Eventually I restored the car to excellent condition and the car has been in many parades over the past few years. I belong to the Classic Thunderbird Club of Southern California and I am also a memeber of the Classic Thunderbird Club International.

My car has the original specs for color (Azure Blue and a Colonial White Porthole top). The upholstery is Colonial White and I also have the white soft top. + + + + + + + + + + Former owner of this car, Tom Wozab, contacted the Registry on 6/22/2012 and he says: I traded a '65 Ford Mustang for this car in 1969 I believe. Isaw it driving down Pacific Coast Highway in Hermosa Beach, California - It was for sale and I got the owner to pull over and we worked out the trade right there. I eventually met Paul Hudgins who lived in my neighborhood and he helped me restore it. I've always wondered what happened to it as I last saw it in 1974 in Hollywood and it had a Lincoln engine in it at that time. I now have a '55 T-bird, Thunderbird blue RN 9616 in this registry. I also have the gate release for this '57 as Paul told me how to write to Lois Eminger to get it. I'm happy to see this car is in great shape and being enjoyed. + + + + + UPDATE July 2012, Tom Wozab sent a copy of the factory invoice. Click the link below.
