Bob Burtness says: I purchased this car in Athens, Greece in 1962 and believe that I am the third owner. Along with an article, it is pictured twice in "Where the Cars Are" and was featured in a 2003 Thunderbird calendar (Brown Trout Publishing Company). A picture of this car was once considered to promote the new Thunderbirds. The car is original except the body color, Dusk Rose, was changed to Flame Red, another color available on Thunderbirds in 1957. UPDATE July 2012, Dennis Dole reports that a picture of the gate release document for this Thunderbird is shown on page 27 of the May-June 2010 Early Bird magazine. The car was originally sold to Export Operations and was shipped to the FoMoCo Fairview Warehouse in Fairview, New Jersey.
