Michael Schroeder says: This 1957 Thunderbird was purchased new by my grandfather, Robert W. Johnson of Los Angeles, Cailfornia from Klem Motor Sales on 1/14/58. Before my grandfather passed away he gave the car to his only daughter, my mother. My mother recenly gave the car to me. I plan on doing a ground up restoration. When I was much younger (10 years old) my grandfather use to take me to his boat in this car. Once in a while some young kid would be stopped at the light along side of us. My grandfather would blow his doors off. So there are a lot of great memories of my grandfather and his T-bird.
