(2005): Jeff Emptage says: I purchased my 1957 Thunderbird in 1994. The owner before me had the car for 17 years. It was originally sold in Chicago, Illinois. There was evidence that it went out to the west coast before coming back east where former owner purchased the car in Hyannis, Massachusetts. It was originally Dusk Rose in color - it was purchased with Torch Red exterior color, white porthole and convertible tops and red and white interior. It has 45,000 original miles on it and when it was professionally redone three years ago, the comment was made that it was "the best" 45 year old car, with respect to body integrity, that he had ever worked on. UPDATE September 2017, New York State DMV registration is current. UPDATE July 2022, it is for sale by owner Jeff Emptage. (codes added, picture added)
