This is a 1957 Thunderbird. It is Raven Black (A) with a black and white interior (XA). It was scheduled for production on July 11, 1957 (11G). It has 3-speed manual transmission (1) and a 3.70:1 rear axle ratio (3). This Thunderbird was documented at a Kruse auction in Indiana in May, 2000. Bill Mann reports that in January, 2004 this Thunderbird was heavily damaged by fire while being transported to an auction in Arizona. He also reports that the data plate now reads: AA XH 22G 2 3. UPDATE, Arthur Ash III reports as of July, 2013 it was for sale on ebay and located in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. It has been completely restored by Amos Minter. (picture added) It was sold new at John Maroone Ford Sales, 2409 Harlem Road, Buffalo 11, New York. (see invoice picture) UPDATE, September 2013, Bill Hyndman notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: It is now in Bucks County, PA and will be judged at the next CTCI Regional event.
