This supercharged 1957 Thunderbird was sold on August 29, 1999 at Christies Auction in Los Angeles, California. It was described as being Starmist Blue with a white interior. It had: 4 speed manual transmission, Town & Country radio, wire wheels and a white porthole hardtop. This car was restored in 1984. Selling price was $74,000.00. UPDATE February 2012, Glen supplied the picture which was taken prior to its sale at RM Auctions 2006 Monterey, California for $220,000.00, lot #466. UPDATE July 2024, it will be offered at the Mecum auction in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
