According to Bill Van Ess of the 1958 Thunderbird Convertible Registry, this Thunderbird was purchased by Malcolm Gallagher, who resides in England, in 1981. When Mr. Gallagher acquired this car it bore the data plate of H9YJ120047 RN 3105 - a 1959 Convertible, a 1959 grille, and 1960 taillights. In 1992 he discovered the correct VIN stamped on the frame. It is believed that this is the only 1958 Convertible export model in the world. The original engine would have been a 332 cubic inch V-8, which was missing from the car; it currently has an engine from a 1963 Ford. - - - - - - This Thunderbird is Winterset White with a black and white vinyl interior. It is equipped with Cruise-O-Matic Drive, power steering, power brakes, power windows, MagicAire Heater, and Console Radio.
