Michael Freeman says: My 1958 Thunderbird Hardtop was originally all black with a black and white interior. She is now kind of turquoise with a white top and a "red" interior. It was painted red at some point (the reason for the interior color). The inside of the trunk lid is the only spot of nice original black paint. She is not currently registered with the D.M.V. but will be soon! She runs good and sounds great (dual cherry bombs). It just needs front end work and some minor knick-knacks, and it will be back on the streets of Southern California, turning heads and attracting chicks! I am also considering putting air bags in the back. UPDATE January 2012, it is for sale and located in Miami, Florida.
