Steve Kraemer says: My 1958 Thunderbird is rebuilt to original specs except engine, now a 335hp 390 cubic inches. It sat from 1971 to 1991, when it was painted, then sat until 2001 when we purchased it from a collector of T-Birds. This car was his 1958. He had one Thunderbird for every year from 1955 to 1966. UPDATE November 2014, Steve reports he still owns RN 85. UPDATE November 2019, Mike Kramer says: My dad passed away in August. My brother and I decided to keep the car in the family so I took over ownership. Since the prior update my dad installed front disc brakes and lowered the Bird. UPDATE August 2023
This car is now for sale by a private seller in Gresham, Oregon and has 112,000 miles on its odometer.
