Jed Zimmerman says: My car is a '58 Hardtop bought in 1994 in Cerritos, California for $500. It has had a nearly 100% ground-up restoration to original with everything stripped to bare metal and redone. I even repainted and re-did the complete underdash and brake assemblies to original configurations and paint colors. Much time went into my "self restoration" of this T-bird; I hired out the engine and tranny rebuilds. She's a real jewel, but I never drive her, I can only manage to start the engine every month or so and drive it in and out of the garage. I entertain thoughts of selling the Bird to a new owner. But alas,as I spent more time with the Bird than I have with my wife, I do desire to take this Bird with me where ever my destiny may lie. UPDATE July 2017 Glen Hockenjos reports it is now for sale at Classic Rides & Rods in Annandale, Minnesota. (picture updated) UPDATE June 2021 it is for sale in Waleska, Georgia.
