This 1958 Thunderbird Hardtop was seized by Associates Discount Corporation from Smith's Windham Lincoln-Mercury Sales according to a notice in the October 19, 1963 edition of the Hartford Courant (Hartford, Connecticut). There were 26 new Mercurys (1963 and 1964) and a new 1963 Lincoln also seized, as well as several other used cars. All were to be sold at auction on October 21, 1963 at Columbia Service Station, Route 6A, Columbia, Connecticut.
