Tim Brown says: My father took care of her meticulously for 50 years.
I have the original bill of sale from Keats Motors Trenton NJ. The temp registration from when she came home from the dealer almost every year after to present. A log book with almost every tank of gas mileage, estimated mpg's and service/oil changes. Seeing my own hand writing starting in 1979. When I picked her up in May of 2008.She had 128k miles (some of the hardest probably put on by me in my youth years). Time to pay for it now! We took her home on a roll back from Pennsylvania, 15 miles from home the roll back blew a tire. She was unloaded and finished the trip home under her own power (25 year old gas). Knew I could still count on her. We sent the engine/transmission to Jaspers, had them remanufactured. The complete suspension and steering professionally rebuilt. The body had it's original paint on it in Oct. 2008.She only needed minor patch panel repair in lower rear quarter panels. Rust proofing and a fresh coat of professionally matched paint was applied. Now she looks as good as new. - - - - - - A couple of test runs around Southern Maryland were made. She was taken to My sister wedding May 31 2009 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. I was asked to park her in front of the Hershey hotel. She stayed there all day on display. After My wife Joely and I drove back to Southern Md. It takes an understanding wife to complete a project like this is one year. We take the car to parades, weddings. We don't show the car. Just don't care to hear what a judge has to say about her. She is perfect to me! I will always' love her.
