Bob Goldstein says: I purchased my 1958 Thunderbird on eBay and had it shipped to Houston, Texas. The previous owner said that it originally came from South Dakota in 1993 and was restored in Minnesota. The original engine was dead and was rebuilt using a later-model 390 truck engine and a C6 transmission. I am currently rebuilding the suspension and steering. I need to get the air conditioning working.
------April 5, 2005: submitted by Arthur Ash III - This 1958 Thunderbird Hardtop has SelectAire Conditioning, power windows and fender shields. As of April, 2005 it was for sale on ebay and located in Cedar, Minnesota.
