Peter John Bowden says: I've just recently bought this beauty from a gentleman in London . It has had a bare metal respray to Colonial White , new upholstery and a rebuilt engine . It still has California license plates fitted the details of which are 21CJ223-FEB CA89-D7432588 . I hope to be able to drive and look after my Bird for many years to come . Sadly my first drive was a bit of a nightmare as the coolant level was too low and it was overheating . I'm praying I switched off just in time . Since draining and filling with the correct ratio of coolant it appears to idle and run fine so here's keeping my fingers crossed . I really appreciate the amount of information available online about these wonderful cars .
