This is a 1958 Thunderbird Convertible. It is Winterset White (B) with a black and white vinyl interior (XH). It was scheduled for production on July 15, 1958 (15G). This Thunderbird is part of the 1958 Thunderbird Convertible Registry by Bill Van Ess. This Thunderbird was last known to be owned by Frank D. Lipson of Florida. UPDATE April 2017, Izzy notified the Registry that he owns this car. He says: This vehicle was purchased by me in 2005, it was purchased from Motorcraft Portfolio in Canton, Ohio.
The vehicle was fully restored to its original status in 2008. The engine and transmission were re-done, and all wiring was replaced. The body was stripped down to the bare metal, primed sealed and repainted.
Based on extensive research, the history states that the original paint color is Colonial White and not Winterset White. UPDATE September 2017, New York State DMV registration is current.
