David Cartwright says: I completely restored my 1958 convertible doing most of the work the last part of 2000 and completing it in 2002. I did all of the work myself, including rebuilding the engine. My son painted it Winterset White (B) for me; it has a black and white interior (XH). We drove it across the United States in Thunder on 66 this year. We put on 6,000 miles during this trip. It is a joy to drive and handles very well. It has power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seat, Console Radio, and MagicAire Heater. It was scheduled for production on June 27, 1958 (27F). We understand it is one of the rare ones.
