This is a 1959 Thunderbird Hardtop. It is Flamingo (T). This Thunderbird was seen at the Newport, Rhode Island auction in 1995. UPDATE June 2012, Dennis Dole reports it was sold at the RM Astor Collection Auction (Lot #357) for $22,000 in June 2008. This Thunderbird received a frame-on restoration. It has been finished in its original Raven Black, with a mild custom touch with the addition of a subtle turquoise pin-striping along the body side and details in the recesses of the chrome body trim. All four of the individual bucket-style seats have been restored to their original appearance in black and white leather. Accessories include power steering and brakes, plus power windows and seats, Magic Aire heater-defroster and push-button AM radio. (picture added) It had California license plate 2VED351.
