John Devlin says that he purchased this 1959 Thunderbird Hardtop from the owner in Kamloops, British Columbia in 2008.
<p> He adds: "... it looked real good and had new floor pans and other work done to it, I have spent a lot of the last year getting everything working, after I bought the car I learned it did not have the original motor and all dash items did not work, I rebuilt the front end and replaced many things such as starter carb,brakes and brought her back from the edge with a working speed o ,working radio,working cig lighter,working magic aire controller, repaired interior lights,repaired headliner,put in the front chrome piece for the vent ports (was missing) replaced consol speaker, replaced 1/4 window motor, repaired loose edges on dash, replaced and painted air cleaner, valve covers and cleaned up and painted most removable items under hood and applied new decals, the car is looking pretty good as a driver, the body colour is red which is incorrect but it looks good so it stays."
