Philipp Tschorn says: January 2003: Two years ago I bought this Thunderbird, with 352 cid V-8, power brakes, power steering, automatic transmision and the original radio. Now I´m going to rebuild it. The Bird is disassambled now to take the old paint off the body. I´am going to repaint it in the original color (mint), perhaps with an white top. Hopefully it is back on the road this year. - - - - - December 2005: I hope to have my Thunderbird on the road in the Spring of 2006. - - - - - - - - April, 2005 update: Phil sent the Registry several dozen pictures documenting the restoration process of this Thunderbird. UPDATE August 2015, Philipp says he has driven many happy miles in his Thunderbird since it went back on the road in 2007. (picture updated) December 2015, build sheet added. Attached was a build sheet for a 1959 Lincoln Continental Convertible.
