Frank van Vliet notified the Registry on February 28, 2010 that he owns this 1959 Thunderbird. He adds that it is "manual everything", including a "3-on-the-tree" and it was ordered without a radio or heat. It was sold new by Hemphill Ford in San Antonio, Texas and it was likely a show room car; ordered to look good but have a low sticker price. It has tu-tone paint, full wheel covers and skirts. The radio was added in 1960 or so.
