This is a 1959 Thunderbird Hardtop. It is Colonial White (E) with a turquoise cloth and vinyl interior (3X). It was scheduled for production on June 8, 1959 (08F), has Cruise-O-Matic transmission (4), and a 3.10:1 rear axle ratio (1). As of December, 2003 it was in western Missouri. UPDATE February 2012, it is for sale in the same location (Springfield, Missouri), along with RN 36989. Its condition has deteriorated and it has sunk into the earth about three inches. It has SelectAire Conditioner. The interior is correct-style 1959 Thunderbird turquoise and white vinyl; the 3X cloth-and-vinyl code on the data plate has been documented twice.
