David Jones says: I found this 1959 Thunderbird locally (Los Alamos, NM) while looking for an old car to make a rat rod. I thought this would make an awesome rat rod type car. I plan on using the 352 300hp engine but replacing the tranny with a 4 on the floor, low rear ended tire spinner. Nasty sounding exhaust, flat black flames on the rusty original paint, etc. etc.
<p> David adds: The guy I bought from was named Omar Gallegoes, he lived in Roswell, NM. It had been parked outside for about 15 years.
