Vincent Willeburgher says: My 1959 Thunderbird Hardtop is totally restored back to its original condition. When I purchased my Thunderbird in 1992, it looked pretty good, it had a black top and white bottom, besides having small trees growing out of the trunk rain gutter area. Then as I discovered from the vehicle number it was supposed to be all black (Raven Black), so I decided to have it stripped down and repainted (surprise), the reason for the white bottom was to hide all the bondo fill. Now the simple repaint took on having to replace all the panels with new steel parts and a great job they did not a seam can be seen. The only problem was the amount of time and money it took. It was all worth it because I belong AACA (Antique Automobible Club of America) and besides winning many trophies I also have won 2nd & 3rd place at Grand National meets. I think the best thing about enjoying driving in it, is watching all the heads turn and getting great comments.
