This 1959 Thunderbird Hardtop is in urgent need for restoration. It is for sale in October 2004 in Santa Ana, California. According to the seller he bought the car in 2004 when he was told about this 1959 T-Bird in Chandler, Arizona. The owner had died, the executor said he thought the old man was the 2nd owner of the car and he had acquired it in 1974. The car has been sitting outdoors for 30 years.
Amazingly the paint is original. It's a nicely optioned T-Bird with factory Air Conditioning, Power Driver Seat, Power Windows and the Adjusto-Ring outside rear-view mirror. Missing are radiator and generator. Motor is non stock 1965 Ford and appears to be a Galaxie 352 or 390. No brakes and condition of transmission is unknown.
