Bernd Ehrlich, who lives in Germany, notified the Registry in July, 2010 that he owns this 1959 Thunderbird. He says this: When I bought the car, it was painted in light blue. According to the production code, it was originally painted in Raven black. I completely restored the car during the last two years. Before repainting the car, I checked if there were any signs of black color underneath, but there weren't. So I am not really sure if it ever was Raven black. It was all light blue and the car also had an accidental damage on the left side. The interior trim was white genuine leather (it wasn't dyed). So I decided to restore and repaint the car in Indian Turquoise and leave the interior trim as it was. The car looks really great and almost new now, even though it isn't original anymore. But it is hard to tell what the original specs were!
<p>Mike Lemmon sent the Registry the information on this 1959 Thunderbird Convertible in January, 2009. It has "DSO 3218" on the data plate. This Thunderbird was discussed on the Squarebirds Forum.
