Randy Ade says: I call this car "Not Quite Macabre" it is a 1959 Thunderbird Convertible - this car will be restored very much like Elvira's Macabremobile (which in the movie is actually a 1959 with the top cut off). This car was purchased on eBay from a guy in Washington, D.C. area, but the car is in Iowa. It is in a 2-year line for restoration. UPDATE As of February 2011 this car was for sale on eBay and located in Fort Myers, Florida. It has been restored. UPDATE November 2011, picture added. It is for sale at Classic Cars of Florida,14985 S. Tamiami Trail, Fort Myers, FL 33912. + + + + + UPDATE August 2013, Fischer/ Schau reports they own this Thunderbird, it was relocated to Germany in 2013 and is in good condition.
