Mike Crawford says: I just bought this 1959 Thunderbird Convertible. It has been converted to black with a white top, It has a black and white interior, fresh rebuild on drive train and front end, less than 300 miles. I learned to drive in a car almost exactly like this. I have always wanted to get back in one. My Dad who taught me to drive passed away a few years ago and to be honest I have been riding and reliving quite a few wonderful memories. Beside when he died I still had a few questions I needed answers to. Not that I've gotten the answers, but I still feel close to him again. I am really not a crack pot or anything like that its just that those times in that old Bird were so special to me. ---Although the tonneau cover wasn't offered in 1959, it does make the old girl look like the BATMOBILE and my nieces and nephews love it!
