Neil Swartz says: I bought this car in May, 1998 from a broker in eastern Virginia. He told me that it was recently restored by a Ford body technician in North Carolina in preparation for going into a new museum that was supposed to be built in West Virginia. Don't know if the story is true, but it sounded good and the restoration was excellent. The car is Indian Turquoise with a white and turquoise vinyl interior. I've done a lot of mechanical, electrical trim and other work to bring it as close to stock as possible. The car has won many local awards and even graced the cover and two pages of the book, "Great American Convertibles" published in 2003. Wish I knew more about it's history.
