Marcia Carnahan says: We bought this Thunderbird in 1997 at an auction in Buffalo, New York and don't know much about its prior history. We had it stripped it to bare metal, replaced both rear quarter panels and one rocker due to rust and repainted the original color and added the chrome dress-up package. Also in 1997 we added a continental kit and replaced dashboard to original and refinished steering wheel. It had an engine fire in 2004, so the whole engine and practically everything in the engine compartment was replaced and painted to original spec colors. We also have a mint kiddie pedal car T-bird painted to match.
