This 1959 Thunderbird convertible was mentioned on the squarebirds.org website by its former owner searching for it in January 2009. It was described as being Colonial White with a red interior and having a white soft top. The former owner's name was Mr. Al Benson. He writes: I am looking for a 1959 Thunderbird Convertible that my Parents bought new in Douglas, Wyoming, from Le Bar Motor Company on August 5, 1959. It was equipped with a 352 cubic inch engine with a manual 3-speed transmission, red leather interior, power steering, power steering brakes, heater, manual windows, radio, windshield washer, back-up lights, fender skirts and sun ray wheel covers. It was last known to be in Buffalo, Wyoming then went to Idaho. I would like to buy it back in most any condition and hopefully restore if it has not been restored.
