Cory Kennedy says: My 1959 Thunderbird Convertible was purchased new in California by my father for my mother. Because of a bad front transmission seal it was park in the garage in 1973. The car and I moved to Richmond Virginia in 1992 where I rebuilt the transmission, replaced the top, cleaned it up and started driving it. At 22,000 miles in 1999 winds from hurricane Floyd caused a branch the size of a small tree to fall on the rear driver side flattening the fin and denting the trunk. Now the car and I are in Columbus Ohio - where bodywork began escalating to a complete paint job starting at bare metal, and new interior. The car now has around 60,000 miles and is 90% complete.
