[Former owner] Leonard Krauter says: My 1959 Thunderbird Convertible is white with a red and white interior. It has Cruise-O-Matic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and the 430 cubic-inch V-8 engine. I show it during the late spring and late fall. I put radial tires on it for better handling and safety. UPDATE April 2020, Ferdy Hogeweg notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: I bought this Thunderbird from someone in Belgium (Europe). He bought it from someone in the USA on a picture and had it shipped over to here. He started taking apart the car to restore but never came to it. I bought the car as it was not knowing to much about it. The owner told me it was the big engine not further knowing what ‘big’ engine it was.
The original the color was black and someone in the past changed it to multiple colors (found them when sanding it down), but the car was white wen I bought it.
