Michael Hinsch says: We did a ground-up authentic restoration on this car over the last 4 years. It was painted white imediately after the original owner purchased the car because they didn't have a white car available. We put the car back to its original color. It is Beachwood Brown with a tan leather interior, Lincoln 430, SelectAire Conditioner, Sun Ray wheel covers, power driver seat, power windows, fender skirts, power steering, power brakes, back-up lights, day night mirror, windshield washer, radio. Our Thunderbird was bought new in Tillamook, Oregon where we found it. It won first place in the primary division of the 2002 Costa Mesa VTCI meet in August. RN 2616 won first place at the Concourse d'Elegance show in Forest Grove, Oregon on July 19, 2003. - - - - UPDATE August 2014, Phil Skinner adds it was owned by Rich Kraft (?) in Oregon, August 2005.
