This is a 1960 Thunderbird Hardtop with Sliding Sun Roof. It is Corinthian White (M) with a Beachwood Brown (H) roof. It was scheduled for production on April 18, 1960 (18D). It has Cruise-O-Matic transmission (4) and a 2.91:1 rear axle ratio (8). It was documented by the Heartland Vintage Thunderbird Club as being owned by E. Knitter of California. The production codes were supplied by Bob Horan. UPDATE October 2016 Jim Moe reports it is for sale at Salt Lake City Classic & Muscle Cars in Vernal, Utah. The data plate looks to be a recent issue and says the color is M with trim 77 (turqoise cloth and vinyl). The interior appears to be original two-tone tan (54). (picture of car added) UPDATE August 2017, Steve notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says he plans on changing the tires and wheels.
