This 1960 Thunderbird Hardtop was was documented by the Heartland Vintage Thunderbird Club as being owned by E. Knitter of California. As of December, 2003 it was in Wheaton, Illinois. UPDATE January 2019, John Orwin says: My records show the car was originally in California, then went to Jim Dottling who sold it to a man in Wheaton, IL. I purchased it from him in Jan 2004. I have just completed a 15-year nut-bolt restoration.
