L. Harrison says: My 1960 Thunderbird Hardtop was owned for several years by a collector in Illinois who owned more than 150 classic vehicles including six original-condition 1960 Thunderbirds. It was placed for auction at Volo in 2011 and purchased by a local enthusiast who reconditioned the engine. He had to sell it to make room for other projects so I'm now the proud owner! I've wanted one for a long time and will be using it as my daily summer driver. I plan to retain the original condition and to spruce it up gradually.
