Cecil McKay notified the Registry in April 2010 that he owns this Montecarlo Red 1960 Thunderbird Hardtop with Sliding Sun Roof. It has power steering, power brakes, power windows, SelectAire Conditioner, and Continental kit. Cecil adds: when I purchased the car it had been painted red, and interior was red leather (original was turquoise). We had all paint removed in 2005 and a professional repaint with 1960 Thunderbird red. We pulled out the 352 engine and had it professionally rebuilt by the Jasper Engine Company to original specifications, and our Tbird is featured both on the cover and as "Miss September" in the 2011 Jasper Calendar. UPDATE As of April, 2013 it was for sale on ebay and located in Orlando, Florida. As of May 2016 it is for sale in Sykesville, Maryland. - - - - - - - - - In 2002, this Thunderbird was documented by the Heartland Vintage Thunderbird Club as being once owned by H. Ziegler of Florida. Mike Hora sold this Thunderbird to Cecil in 2000. - - UPDATE September 2019 it is for sale in Orlando, Florida. UPDATE September 2020 it is for sale in Vero Beach, Florida.
