Nick Murray says: I recently purchased my 1960 Thundebird Hardtop in England, UK. It has been over here since 1992 - I believe it was a California import. I am currently restoring the car and will welcome any information on this car. The UK registration is YYJ 903.In July, 2005 Nick adds that this Thunderbird has been scrapped and sold for parts. He tells us that after having been in the restoration process for two years, the car was structurally very weak. Adding to the fact that it was not original, the cost to restore it was prohibitive.
