Eric Jungklaus says: Here is one that blows any T-Bird fan's mind! It is my 1960 Thunderbird Hardtop with 13,475 actual miles. The car was purchased at Crouse Motor Sales on April 13, 1960 by Mr. Howard W. Jlare of Hampstead, Maryland. For 43 years it was stored in his garage behind his "Wooden Indian" hardware store in Hampstead. Mr. Klare died several years ago and his sone Howard Jr. decided to sell it. - - - - - - - - - -
Rarely seen, this all original Corinthian White beauty is in flawless condition. I purchased it in May, 2003 and it was shipped with its original 8.00 x 14 Firestone tires on the car. In the trunk was its original spark plugs and belts from its first and only service. In addition, the window sticker was still in the car. Factory door seal tape is still seen and the spare tire sits in its original place in the trunk. Restorer Tom Young has used this Thunderbird as a model for his current restoration project. This superb squarebird deserves a place in Thunderbird collector lore. Its interior still has the smell of a new car. Now that I have this beautiful Thunderbird it will get the attention and adulation it so richly deserves. UPDATE January 2014, This car is to be auctioned by RM Auctions on March 14-16, 2014 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It has 13,767 original miles on its odometer. UPDATE July 2019, in 2017 it was for sale at Back In the Day Classics in Orange, California.
