Ed Campbell says: I recently purchesed this next restoration project from the second owner who bought it from his mother in law. Her husband allegedly bought the car as a demonstrator with around 1000 miles on it. It is currently under 40,000 miles. Raven black with red and white vinyl interior, 352 4 bbl and factory three speed manual transmission. Check out the VIN, it's original. I have only ever seen one other and that was a '58 my dad owned. It was the same drivetrain but was red with a white top. I plan on a rotissere restoration of the car and hope to have it done within the next three years. The car has manual windows, manual steering, manual brakes and fender skirts. I am interested in any production numbers for '60 Birds with the manual trans. I read somewhere that there were about 1% equipped this way. Thank you in advance and thanks to the web host for this fantastic site. UPDATE May 2013, Ed reports that he sold this Thunderbird to its new owner in Germany.
