Hans van Oorspronk says that he found this Ford factory dealer invoice for a 1960 Thunderbird Hardtop for sale on eBay in December 2004 in Easton, Pennsylvania. Whether or not the car exists is unknown.
According to the seller the car was produced in Wixom, Michigan on April 15, 1959. It had an Aquamarine color (C), 8.00x14 White Side Wall tires; Cruise O Matic transmission; Magicaire Heater; Console radio; Windshield washers; Back up lights; 70 amp battery; Fender Shields; Power steering; Destination & Delivery; 8 gallons gasoline and 11 quarts antifreeze. It was delivered to Masqueliers Service, Lincoln & Arabella, McDonald, Pennsylvania. According to a handwritten note, the car was purchased by Robert Hile, R. D. #, Corapolis, Pennsylvania. The retail price for the car was $4,398.90 and the dealer cost was $3,428.32. The backside of the invoice has additional information including Condition and sale contract, Trust receipt, Bill of Sale, etc.
