Patrick J. Laus says: My beautiful 1960 Thunderbird Hardtop has 3-speed manual column shift (no overdrive), no radio, crank windows, no air conditioner, no windshield washer, no back-up lights. It has power seat and has power steering. The original California registration documents were found in car, Indiana registration documents found as well. The previous Michigan owner stored car for 10 years in metro Detroit warehouse. It looks to have original paint showing blemishes and fading. The original interior in very good condition. It appears to be original 352 (intact, but wrong valve covers), new clutch assembly in summer 2016, runs, drives, and stops nicely, 91,000 miles. I am currently in the process of replacing Cragar mags that came on car. Writer obtained four 14" solid steel wheels then blasted and painted them, now seeking suitable tires. Have four correct caps in route. UPDATE May 2017: Update: The "60" T-bird now has four correct solid steel 14's blasted and painted gloss black. I purchased four Hankook P215/75R/14's from Amazon for $241 delivered, had them mounted (black walls out) and balanced for $40 locally (saved about $200 over chain tire stores). The car sits a tad lower than before with the 225/15's mounted, but looks very good. I found a super nice set of correct covers from a guy in Missouri for $100 on Craigslist. - - - - - - - - Lastly, I have decided to sell the car for personal reasons, I am asking $8500. The car can been seen on Craigslist Metro Detroit. Complete description is there, please feel free to forward this info or contact me with any questions.
