Frank van Vliet says: My 1960 Thunderbird was originally used by a Ford executive, and later bought in 1961 by Manual Peralta. It was in his family until I bought it in April, 2002.
It was restored in 1993 by Hibernia Auto Restorations. This was a complete restoration with over $120,000 invested. I actually have all the receipts. About 10,000 miles on it since the restoration. Very, very clean. Won numerous awards in local upstate New York car shows. I do drive it (not a trailer princess) and this year put radial tires for a better ride (huge improvement over the bias ply tires.) Last year I put about 1000 miles on it. It is nice "head turner" car.

Update March 1, 2010 from Frank van Vliet: I sold this car on July 6, 2004 to a Mr. Jeff Partin via eBay. I contacted Mr. Partin in February 2009 with an interest in seeing if I could purchase the car back, and he told me that he sold the car to a "Mr. Frank Fowler in Alabama, who purchased it for his wife". I was unable to find contact information for Mr. Fowler.
