This Thunderbird was originally registered by one-time owner Ken Harkema: I don't have the door tag any longer. This was the first Thunderbird I restored in 1974/75. I did this car for my father and he was very active in showing the car winning many trophies. Eventually he won a first place at the VTCI convention in 1995 in San Diego and earned the "Senior" status. In June of 1999 the car was sold to Bob Fay of Australia and I arranged the shipping. Bob still owns the car and is active in local car shows.
Updated October 1, 2003 by present owner Mark Ellery: She is Corinthian White - she's gorgeous and currently undergoing repairs due to an accident. She still has her Sun Ray deluxe wheel trims and recently has had a rebuild of her braking system and transmission, front end overhaul is being completed concurrent with the wreck repairs. Ken Harkema restored the car in approximately 1974/75 and I would love to hear from him. The standard of the restore is amazing and she stills stops traffic anywhere. She was sold to Mr. Bob Fay in 1999 and emigrated down under. I purchased her for $25,000 in April of 2003.
