In April 2016 this 1960 Thunderbird Convertible was offered for sale on ebay and was located in Reva, Virginia. The car has been completely disassembled. The mileage was reported to be 106,000 miles. It was also reported by Dennis Dole. The Registry has an image of the data plate. UPDATE December 2017, the owner says: I bought this shell in February of 2017 to use in the restoration of another J-code 1960 Thunderbird Convertible. 90% of the components had been removed and were missing when I acquired it. It is likely that this car will never be registered again. UPDATE July 2023 it has been completely restored and is for sale in Addison, Illinois. The new color code is A and the new trim code is 85. (Status changed to Intact, second picture added) UPDATE November 2023 it is for sale in Cave Creek, Arizona.
